I had to admit it. Edward Cullen was everything that the world had to offer to me, and I hardly deserved him. We were only two weeks into our summer vacation and I had already spent every moment he got together.
Today was different though. Edward had taken his first hunting trip of the summer, and even though I hated being alone without him today, I also hated depriving him of his needs.
So, to occupy myself for the day I decided to go through my collection of junk that had added up over the years. I couldn't believe some of the stuff I had found! It all ranged from topless Barbie dolls to random princess doodles from my childhood days in Forks.
Finally I found our Golden Onion.
I still didn't understand what the whole point of giving a student a "Golden Onion" was, but it was our onion. The first day Edward ever spoke to me. The first day I had ever felt something around him.
"Haven't seen that in a while." Said a soft, velvety voice from behind me, causing me to jump.
Edward sat on the floor behind me gently rubbing my back as I gawked at his beauty.
I was barely able to answer, "I wasn't expecting you to be home just yet, so I was going through this stuff..." I trailed off.
Edwards eyes were scorching into mine. I didn't even think twice about it, it was just a natural reflex, but before I knew it Edward and I were kissing.
I closed my I eyes content as Edward whispered against my lips, "And to think, that was just the start..."
Again, Edward leaned toward me again and pressed his lips sweetly against mine, with our golden onion between us.
