Tainted Love
This love we feel
Should not be real
It is both pure and dark
And it weighs heavily against my heart
They call our love tainted
Even went as far as to call it desecrating
You asked me once if I felt regret
But to regret would mean to never see your face
Your eyes are full of fire
That sends my heart racing with desire
Your expression is distant and cold
But behind the mask I can see your very soul
Our love is what keeps me going
Whether it be tainted or pure
We were fated to be
Together forever, just you and me
Either in heaven or in hell
We shall never part
For the gods are of little power
When it comes to our hearts
