The best thing about being an A.I. is that you can create copies of yourself and that's exactly what Chiaki Nanami did.
Prior to her execution by Monokuma, Chiaki created a copy of herself and hid it away deep within the virtual world so she could continue watching over Hajime.
"Hajime…"
The pink-haired A.I. had watched the final confrontation between Hajime and Junko. At first she was worried because Hajime was filled with despair due to her death, but she gave him the encouragement that he needed to defeat Junko once and for all.
Sadly though, with Junko's fall the Neo World Program starts to shut down and with it Chiaki must go.
"It's not so bad though," said Chiaki to herself with a smile. "After all, I met Hajime and everyone else."
She had even said as such that she would never forget her friends and that they would be friends forever. Of course there was still the tiny bit of sadness that she wouldn't be there with her friends anymore, so she had one last trick up her sleeve.
The Ultimate Gamer, in one last gamble, created a copy of herself and downloaded it into Hajime's mind to act as memories of her. Granted, Chiaki knew Hajime would have memories of her regardless, but these memories would be "alive" since it would technically be her and not a figment of the imagination.
"Now I can always watch over you, Hajime, and help you whenever you need it."
Back in the real world, Hajime turned to look behind him with a look of confusion. "Strange. I thought I heard Chiaki for a moment."
Chiaki couldn't help but smile.

…I have never played any of the Danganronpa games, so I'm not that familiar with the characters and had to use the wiki to get a better grasp on them. After reading about what happens, I tried to make something that could plausibly happen with Chiaki after her execution. I went with this scenario since it made the most sense with what I know of the characters.
