Here we go once again
I decided to make this after getting such nice reviews on my last one 'Just a Dream' anyway enjoy.
It was a rainy Friday night in Central Park Zoo and the penguins where inside there habitat watching horror movies in the dark. And Private looked as terrified as ever his face was pale and sweaty and he looked like he was ready to cry Skipper was the first to take notice of Private's trembling form he then spoke to him "are you OK Private" Private nodded slowly Skipper watched him sceptically then fixed his eyes back to the screen. Finally one hour later the movie was done and Skipper looked to where Private was sitting only to see no private , Skipper looked around the room still no sight of Private ,Skipper got up "has anyone seen where Private went?" Kowalski spoke "I believe he went up top sir" Skipper looked at him "In the rain? he's gonna get a cold out there" Skipper then climbed up the ladder and opened the hatch he then spotted Private sitting at the end of the island Skipper walked beside him "Private what are you doing out here?" Private flinched in surprise "Oh... hi Skippah" Private said in a soft voice "are you sure your alright Private? You looked pretty scared when we were watching that movie and now here you are sitting in the rain" he nodded once again "I am fine Skippah that movie was just a tad to scary for me" Skipper reached one of his flippers to Private "lets get you inside before you catch a cold" Private nodded and grabbed hold Skippers flipper they then walked inside not even noticing that they were still holding each others flippers they then walk to the bathroom. Skipper tossed Private a towel and then got one for himself they quickly dried off and got back to the main room "Alright its time we all get some sleep" they all nodded and got into there separate bunks "good night men" "goodnight Skipper" they all said after about a half an hour Kowalski and Rico had fallen asleep. Private unfortunately was having some slit difficulty sleeping for every shadow he saw looked like a monster ready to pounce "Skippah Skiippah" Private whispered just in case he was asleep fortunately Skippers head popped out of nowhere "whats wrong solider" Private flinched slightly "I-I am scared Skipper" after a second Skipper spoke "what are you afraid of?" Private looked down eventually after what seemed like hours Skipper put his fin under Private's beak and looked at him straight in his eyes "Private..." Private sighed "I-It's nothing Skipper I'll just go back to bed" Skipper nodded but before he returned to his bed he spoke softly "Private if you need anything your always welcomed to sleep with me" before Private had a chance to respond Skipper was already gone.
After about 10 minutes Private still couldn't sleep he couldn't decide if he should just go and sleep with Skipper or stay awake for the whole night, he soon made his decision after a huge crack of thunder rang through the room.
Private bolted up the ladder and pretty much ttackled Skipper in a hug. Skipper still slightly shocked from the tackle tried to calm down Private the best he could "shh its OK Private there is nothing to be afraid of" Private looked up at Skipper for a second before nuzzling his chest then leting go "I -I am s-so sorry Skipper I just got to scared" Skipper then spoke softly "Its OK Private your OK now" after about a minute Private had finally settled down "Do you want to go to sleep now Private" Private nodded.
Skipper laid his head on his pillow and with Private nuzzling his chest they both went to sleep.
