Summary: The SecNav called Jenny about a Case and left her really upset and annoyed. Gibbs helps her to cope with it and cheers her up. Something you maybe need to know: Gibbs and Jenny are together.

It was a Saturday night in august and nearly 11 p.m.
½ hour ago Gibbs has sent his people home. It has been a long, hard and tough investigation. Before he finally could go home he just had to look over his team's reports. But before he was willing to do that he really needs some coffee.

10 Minutes later

Gibbs took a sip from his mug. He was sitting on his desk again. Just as he was about to concentrate on Tony's report he was interrupted by a very familiar voice. Jenny Shepard was standing on the less enlightened gallery with the phone on the ear. She barely could hide the anger in her voice.
"Of course, Sir! … But I really don't think… Yes, Mr. Secretary. I understand. Good night, Sir." She angrily shut her phone closed and walked into her office.

10 Minutes later

Gibbs carefully opened Jen's door "Are you OK?"
"A phone call with the SecNav. What do you think?" she answered, still a little bit furiously.
He was standing right behind her now and pressed a kiss to her right temple. "Let's go home. That's what I'm thinking!"
"Home? That sounds really nice" she said, slightly smiling.

A few minutes later they were at Gibbs' car and put their belongings into it. Just as Jen was about to put her bag inside the car, her phone started ringing. Gibbs swiftly closed the door and took her hand "Come with me to the park"
"Jethro, it's 11:30 p.m." she said laughing but she willingly followed him.

It was a wonderful night, still warm from the sun of the day and starry. Gibbs laid his arms around her from behind and kissed the back of her head.
But she needed mote. Jen turned around in his embrace and kissed him with all her passion. When they finally broke apart she said "You know exactly what to do to make me feel better when I had a bad day"
"Always at you service, Madam Director" he answered smiling and kissed her again.

The next morning

Gibbs was standing on the threshold to their bedroom and watched her sleeping. He has gotten up early to prepare a cozy breakfast in bed for them.
A Sunray tickles Jen in her face and she unwillingly opened her eyes.
"Good morning" whispered Gibbs as he put the tray to their bed.
"Good morning" she responded smiling.
The breakfast, especially the coffee connected with the sun created a very peaceful atmosphere.
"I love Sunday mornings. Oh and thank you. For the breakfast" she replied his unspoken question. But the wonderful atmosphere was soon ruined by a very annoying noise.
"Where are you supposed to be, my little busy girl?" he asked with a glance at Jenny's ringing phone.
"I'm exactly where I am supposed to be!" She answered smiling while she ignored the phone.
