She didn't like to be wounded. The blood smeared her ribcage and along her stomach.

"You're bleeding," Dean stated; eyes wide as saucers.

Rolling her eyes, she snorted. "Yeah. It happens from time to time."

He swallowed hard. "I just didn't realize that…"

"We bleed? Yeah. I'm in meat. Meat bleeds if you beat it too hard." He grabbed the med kit and cracked it open to find cotton swabs and peroxide.

"I uh…what do you need from here?"

Now she can't help but laugh from the confused expression on his face. "Just like any other human needs. I have no juice to heal these with any type of spell and right now I wouldn't want to resort to that with so many demons after us. They'd smell the magic like a homing device."

Instead of waiting, she grabbed the kit from his hands and pulled out a few swabs and a bandage for the wound. "Do you need um, any help?" Dean watched as she started to pull the tan tank she'd been wearing up her stomach, showing nicely toned muscle and red coat.

Looking up from the wound with a grimace, she found her mouth already replying before she could stop herself. "Sure." Both she and the hunter were somewhat stunned by it but neither spoke of it.

"Okay." He whispered hoarsely, like he was straining to speak.

Touching the shirt, he held it up with two pinched fingers and checked the damage. Only one large gash was visible, but it was definitely enough to hurt.

"It's not too bad," Dean grabbed the swabs and began to cleaning it up. Meanwhile she had lain back, allowing her stomach to relax. "You may need stitches."

"Demons don't do stitches, Cowboy." She caught him glaring at her and she sighed out. Be nice, he was trying to help. "It will heal before the stitches even tried to."

"Oh." He threw the unused supplies back into the box and shut it. "You're good then."

Sitting up, she looked over his handiwork and was surprised to find a bandage along her side with Hello Kitty all along it. With an arched brow, she looked to find him glowering.

A long moment passed before he threw his arms up. "They were the only ones I could find."

Smiling, Ruby eased from the bed. "Thanks Cowboy." She suddenly felt ten times better when a molted hue grew in his cheeks.
