A/N: Pandoras Tower is a brilliant game. That is all.

Pandoras Tower belongs to Ganbarion and Nintendo.

"So when the world was overrun with those negative emotions; choking the light and bringing hate, jealousy and anger, nobody noticed the tiny glow almost peeking out of the darkness. Its light was small and although it remained unnoticed, it was there. It was hope."

A strong breeze rustled through a small patch of flowers. Occasionally, the petals would be plucked gently from the flower heads and would dance on the wind across the empty landscape. It was a beautiful sight in a land that was otherwise so barren, and which had such a dark past. Where the Scar had once split the land and threatened to tear the very world apart there was now solid ground. Through the combined powers of the Vestra and the Oraclos Chain, the Scar had been healed. The only evidence of its existence, and its home to the Thirteen Towers, was a protruding section of the large chain that had bound them together and the curious presence if an eternally blooming patch of flowers. The lush green grass grew in a circle surrounding what was visible of the link, with the flowers growing closer together than could be natural within the stems of green. The white blossoms never wilt or change. They remained eternally in bloom, and seemingly replaced every petal that was blown away on the winds. The flowers were safe from human interference; even though Okanos had been freed from its off limits status nobody from the surrounding countries approached the barren area.

The only visitors to the remnants of The Towers were a young couple. They would travel together across the harsh country, hand in hand, and stand amongst the flowers. The trip was a long one, and wasn't taken too often. But it was rewarded with the memories of how they fell in love and the trials and hardships they went through to be happy together. It was uplifting, and humbling, but neither could repress the darker feelings the place evoked. However it simply strengthened the bond of their enduring love, and their belief in the Gods and Goddesses of Aios – the balancing forces of light and darkness that filled their world. The young couple would lament what had been lost, the pain and sacrifices that had been made to get the peace that had finally united the warring countries. The 13 Towers had stood as a constant reminder of that pain and now both felt as if the Scar had not only been healed in the land, but the pain had been healed too.

The sweet melody of singing would accompany the trips to Okanos, as the girl would sit amongst the blossoms and let her emotions dance on the breeze in her voice. They didn't stay long after she would finish her song. Their reflection was brief, but they never wanted to forget. For the young man, who had learned a truth about his own past too, he felt it was important to remember. Finally, without even speaking a word, the couple would take one last glance at the visible piece of chain and take each other's hand, before returning to their home village in Elyria.

They had been through so much, and although the memory would always remain, in the place of the despair that had burned within them, there was hope.
