Hey, eveyone! Just taking a break from my Yin Yang Shadows series to work on a 5Ds fic! Hope you all like it! It's been bugging me for weeks now and I gotta put it up!
On a side note, there is another writer that has a story similar to this on the Yu-Gi-Oh section. It's called Dragon Star and the writer's name is Sparkzlight. Now before any of you start reporting either of us, I want to make it clear: Sparkzlight and I both had the same idea, though with differences! We have each other's permission, so please don't start any trouble with either of us. Please and thank you.
Disclaimer: The original characters from Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds do not belong to me. Their stories and histories that relate to the series do not belong to me either. I am only using them for the enjoyment of myself and my readers. I do not get anything for putting this story up. The characters that I made, however, do belong to me.
Now that that's settle, enjoy the fic!
Elements Strike
Summery: A girl appears from Satellite with an unusual array of Syncros, which attract familiar enemies. Can Yusei and the other Signers help her?
Prologue:
Neo Domino City. An advanced society that enforces rules of the highest value. Those who break the rules are marked as criminals and are treated as such.
In the park, deep within the city, a girl sat on a bench. She wore torn and faded jeans, but the rest was covered by a tatty cloth that was around her like a hood and cloak, which hid her hair. She shivered in the cold air as she looked down at what looked like four Duel Monsters cards held in her hand, which bore fingerless gloves.
"Wind blows…." She whispered, moving each card slightly so she could see the one behind it. "Fire burns, Water flows, Earth moves…."
There was a long pause before she moved, pulling out five more cards and placing them with the first four. Looking over them again, she sighed.
"But what of the others?" She said softly as she stood and began walking. "Why are they overlooked, when they are just as important?"
She kept walking, looking at each card in turn. However, she didn't notice that she was walking onto the road. Nor did she notice that a car was heading towards her. She only realised it a split second before the car struck.
As she landed, the cards scattered, carried by the winds. She weakly reached out to catch them, but they were already gone… except one, that lay beside her.
"Please…" she whispered. "Find… them….."
As she fell limp, the card beside her glowed, and the faint sound of a roar could be heard….
Sorry to be short, but there you go. Please review and tell me what you think! Don't be shy! It's the little button at the bottom of the screen.
