and weak. Too weak
to protect a thing that's so important
to her.
She's not even a good distraction;
her enemies just glance at her,
toss her aside and move to better fighters:
her mother, her father, their friends…
all older and wiser…

to get stronger, and help them
but getting knocked into the sidelines,
she's doing neither of those things right now.
