Hello people of the Voltron fandom! Here is my first Voltron LD one-shot. I know it's short (like Pidge XD) but I love it very much and I hope you do too. Enjoy~

Sometimes Pidge likes doing her work in small coffee shops, the fresh smell of coffee and treats, the small chatter of the other customers, and her favorite; Hot coffee.

When the green Paladin does decide to go to a small shop, one of her teammates would come along to make sure she doesn't stay too long.

Lance just goes around and attempt to flirt with girls until they get kicked out. Hunk eats the treats and try's to touch Pidge's laptop. Shiro and Keith just stay in comfortable silence and watch everyone in the shop.

It was Keith's lucky day.

The red and green Paladins ordered their coffee and sat down at separate tables a short distance apart. Pidge immediately started working on whatever Galra information she had to do that week and Keith kept an eye on his teammate, the other was scanning the shop. It took a while for something to go wrong.

Pidge's hair has grown to her shoulders, making her look a little more like a girl than a boy. Sadly, for the green Paladin she hasn't found scissors yet.

A boy around Lance's age walked confidently up to Pidge's table with a charming smile, but the female teen didn't notice. He sat down in the empty chair in front of her.

"Did you fall from heaven? 'Cause you look like an angel" Pidge glanced up at him for a short second, than returned to her work. Keith watched the interaction with his full attention. "Was your father a thief? He must've stolen the stars and put them I your eyes" the boy tryed again, but failed. He frowned and closed Pidge's laptop, making her look up.

"Can I help you?" The green Paladin asked almost too calmly.

"I like girls that pay attention when I flirt with them" the boy leaned back and slung a arm over his chair.

"Sorry, to disappoint you" Pidge said sarcastically and opened her laptop, before she started working again. Soon after the boy slammed it shut, fuming.

"Now, you listen here-" he stopped when a pale hand slammed between the two.

"No, you listen, are you too blind to see she's not interested?" Keith growled. The boy went wide eyed and quickly left the table. The red Paladin sat down in the once occupied seat in front of his female teammate.

"Thanks, Keith"

"Anytime, Pidge"

From that day on whenever Pidge would go to a coffee shop Keith would volunteer to watch over the green Paladin like a protective big brother.
