"Thank you, Caitlin." Iris grabbed Caitlin in a hug. "I'm sorry you had to use your powers."
"It's okay Iris. I would do it again in a heart beat for you."
Iris pulled back to study Caitlin's face. She had had a crush on her for a while. She hadn't said anything she understood how losing someone your in love with can hurt. She had been afraid of loving like that again. Of being loved like that again. And she knew that Caitlin had felt that twice. She was so strong. And Iris was scared. But with her possible death in few months this was know time for regret. Iris opened her mouth to speak.
"I like you Iris."
Iris's face was one of surprise. Caitlin turned and ran to the exit. Iris chased after her.
"Caitlin." She called. Caitlin stopped. Turning. "I like you too." Iris continued.
No time for regrets. No time for missed chances.
Iris pulled Caitlin into a passionate kiss.
