Most people tend to accept that what they're looking at is the finished picture; presented as the artist intended.
Sometimes though, it's what's there below that top layer of paint that is closer to the artist's own truth.

Most thought him hot headed, headstrong, impulsive. Even his brother. But that's only a sometimes truth. In reality, he's a slow burn, not a flash fry. Ladies throughout the U.S. would attest to that. So could Sam, with a little thought. As a child himself, Dean parented young Sam with a level of patience unmatched by many adults. A fighter, not a scrapper, he keeps a clear head; dangerous in an opponent. In reality it's not the heat that shows who he is; it's the bitter cold. Silent. Unmoving. Ready. An icy stare that can freeze dry another man's soul.
