Before taking things to the max to rid Dean of the Mark, Sam had come up with loads of "good" ideas, each

"How about laser treatment? Works on tattoos."

"Huh?"

"No, you're right. Not a tattoo...Gottit! Cosmetic surgery. Get it sliced out."

"Huh?"

"Yeah, good point. The scarring might leave you looking mutilated. Hold on...Ok, just hear me out on this one...Acid!"

"Huh?"

"Whoa, don't blow it out straight away. Few drops of sulphuric acid cross ways, let it eat into it, and change it's shape! Maybe add some swirls? No? Gotta admit, the stuff does stink awful. Fire it is then. A controlled burn directly onto it. Bit of oil on your arm first, really get that bonfire go...Dean?...Where you goin'?...Dean?"
