A/N: Hello readers! Now I know that I am supposed to be working on my Merlin story, however the word goddess has decided to send me inspiration for a completly different thing. Hence this poem. I am super sorry Merlin will not be abandoned! Friendly reviews and criticism is welcomed with an open mind and open arms.

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters, nor anything involving Throne of Glass. I do quote the books and I am borrowing a quote I found on Pinterest.

The loneliest people are the kindest.

The saddest people smile the brightest.

The most damaged people are the wisest.

All because they don't wish to see anyone

suffer the way they do.

I have seen people who this easily represents.

Her smile makes the sun jealous,

but I see the despair run through her.

I understand that everyone has scars,

but hers are more visible than most.

In her eyes I could see the loss,

all the death she experienced.

She thought she was alone.

I recified that.

She could rattle the stars,

she could do anything

if only she dared.

She knew that,

and that's why it terrified her.

To know that the gods trembled

at her very presence.

When she sees herself, she sees:

pain

danger

darkness

despair

unworthiness.

When I see her I see:

the loyalty

the sun

the grace

the gentlness

I see fireheart.
