A/N: this idea came to me at night and just wouldn't leave me alone, please enjoy.

I don't own Harry Potter.

Lilly Potter sat down beside her husband as she thought with a sad expression about how she never got to saw her son getting into his Hogwarts train, how she never got to read his letter in the 2nd day about what house he got in or how great the food was, how she was proud of him, how she never saw him stuttering while asking about girls, she never saw him perform his first spell outside Hogwarts or picking a career, but everything has a bright side was that she saw each and every one of those things, Harry just didn't know it.

It all started when Harry reached Hogwarts, her and James were given a huge mirror and saw everything Harry saw, she could remember how she quarreled with James about Harry's first time on a broom she could remember it as if it was yesterday.

"Oh I just hope Harry isn't stupid to follow that Malfoy kid on his broom! He's never rode one before!" said Lilly while sitting on the edge of her seat, "calm down, Lilly, you know he's natural, like his father!" James said with a smug expression, "oh will you cut it, you're father told me about your first time on a broom! You fell on your arse five times till you got it! And even then you still couldn't get it right!" James then murmured something that sounded like 'I can't believe he told you', "shhhh! Harry's got the remmberball!" said Lilly, "see, I told you he's a natural!"

Lilly and James watched anxiously (maybe it was just Lilly), as McGonagall led Harry to wood and talked with him James looked so proud that you'd think he'd explode with pride, while Lilly looked a bit concerned, "is this safe for Harry?", "'course it is!, c'mon it's McGonagall we're talking about here!" said James, "well, I suppose" said Lilly, "I'm really proud of him!, he handled himself really well today!" said James, Lilly felt as if he was 14 again "yes, I think he did" said Lilly as she saw her son sleep with a smile on his young face.
