Last time we left Mako he had just received the mysterious Bey Sol Lyrica from an even more mysterious package from his father. As he practiced, 3 mysterious guys confronted Mako. What will happen find out now! Also I'm still taking OC's PM me!

"So are you strong?" the middle guy questioned.

Mako backed away clenching Sol Lyrica in his fist.

"What does it matter... To you?" Mako said

The middle guy pulled out a bey, it was quite tall, Mako wasn't sure if it was the spin track or the performance tip but it was a giant.

"If a battle is what you want, then me and Lyrica are ready!" Mako said with excitement. " Though I'm not sure if I even have it in me anymore." he thought.

"Thanks for your time, I appreciate it. My Thunder Titan, wont lose." He shouted. "I'm Leon by the way." he smugly said.

The 2 bladers readied there blades and shouted in unison 3, 2, 1 LET IT RIP! The 2 beys launched off at fast speeds.

"What type of bey is that your using kid?" Leon asked.

"Its Mako! And I'm not to sure myself" Mako muttered.

"Well my Thunder Titan, is a well built defense type, CHECK IT!" Leon Shouted.

And he was right it was made like a very sturdy wall. It smashed Sol Lyrica and knocked it back into some tall grass.

"No way!" Mako screamed. "Its so strong, but I not done yet! LETS GO LYRICA!"

Lyrica cut through the grass and launched at titan, letting out a barrage of rapid strikes.

"It acts like a balanced type but I could be wrong..." Leon thought.

Lyrica's onslaught continued, pushing the giant bey back little by little.

"Let finish it Lyrica!" Mako shouted. "Great, lyrica seems to be moving to my orders" he thought.

"Not so fast!" Leon said.

The giant bey swung back, throwing Lyrica towards the Highway column, trapping it.

"This is the end! SPECIAL MOVE! SMASHING ZWEIHANDER!

The spirit of a giant was summoned from his bey. It wore a loin clothe and had a giant double handed sword. Then Thunder Titan launched at Sol Lyrica still trapped in the column.

"No... I don't want to lose.." Mako muttered.

Then Titan smashed into Lyrica.

"Good game kid." Leon said smugly.

"It not KID! And look again!" shouted Mako.

As Leon looked back he saw that his bey was still pushing at Lyrica.

"But how?" Leon said shockingly. "Wait its spin track." He shouted

And he was right, Sol Lyrica's track was lower than it previously was.

"I don't know how it happened either but it seems to be helping me absorb some of the blow!" Mako exclaimed.

Sol Lyrica shot out of the wall pushing Titan away.

"So I don't have the strength to continue this more." Mako thought. "Hey how about one more clash, to end it!" he shouted

"Fine by me!" Said Leon

The 2 beys launched at each other.

"Special move once more Titan!" Commanded Leon.

"I won't lose so easy!" Shouted Mako

When the 2 beyblades clashed there was a massive explosion. And as the smoke cleared Lyrica was left lying in the dirt as Titan wobbled. The winner was Leon.

"I lost... It..Was fun I guess." Mako sighed.

Leon approached Mako and extended his arm. Mako reached out and accepted the kind gesture.

"Your strong but just not enough, we were looking for a member for our beyblade team but you wont cut it." said Leon

"I..." despaired Mako.

"As you are, that is" Leon smirked "Come to the bey park any day and I'll accept your challenge."

Mako smiled as Leon and his group walked away. It was his first battle after all and he couldn't be more proud out it. This was just the beginning of his future in beyblade
