Light Yagami sat in his 5th period social studies class blankly out the window as his teacher gabbled on about the civil war in America.
Honestly, I'm tired of learning things based off of America, the English, the nazi's, and all the basic crap that happened at least 20 years ago. It's not affecting me, and anyways I have much better things to be doing other than sitting here in this class. I am kira, I lead two very busy lives; my intellectual life as one of the most promising students nationwide and Kira, the god of the new world that will only permit good people to live. But yet im still supposed to manage to maintain a social life? If I don't L will surely find me out… but how can I pull all this off? I can't stand Misa… but I have to until she can find out Ryuzaki's real name… you know what? I really can't stand this girl… I can't remember the last time I've kissed a girl… 4…. Maybe 5 months? I can't live like this… a man has his needs! Anyways… I really don't want to touch her, let alone kiss her... she is absolutely repulsive… but Mariko on the other hand… I wouldn't mind her at all…
Light thought as he now was staring at Mariko with drool beginning to form in the corner of his mouth.
"Light-san, would you please read next?" asked the sensei.
"Yes… but where exactly hwhere are we?" he replied, a gasp escaped from the rest of the class.
"So… Light-kun is a real person. Not just a programmed genius… I think I like this side of him." Mariko thought to herself.
"I'm very disappointed in you light-san. You're our brightest pupil and yet your slacking off during class. Unacceptable! I want you to go down to the principles office at this very moment and remain there until after school detention get out." The sensei yelled, pointing out the door furiously.
Light picked up his books and casualy walked out of the classroom as all the students watched in awe.
A/N: okay, okay… that kind of sucked. But still… it's a quick story I'm writing for my friend who fell in love with light. w… so, thanks for Reading and don't forget to review!!
