A/N - This was written in about five minutes for a crack pairing tag on DeviantArt, so don't get too excited. It's really nothing fancy.
Liechtenstein wasn't sure why Spain was so interested in her all of a sudden. He'd never been before.
She was sure it was just that he was trying to gain more territory without starting any fights, and warned herself not to be too impressed, but all the attention – Flowers every few days, little notes every now and then, a smile across the table at meetings – made her heart want to think otherwise.
She peeked out the window as the Spaniard hopped up the front steps and set down a bouquet of flowers, looking up to the window and catching her eye with a wide smile before ringing the doorbell and sprinting away.
She giggled as her older brother grumbled up the stairs and deposited the flowers into her arms with a frown, mumbling, "These came for you." He paused at the door and sent a side-long sneer towards the offending plants before leaving, grumbling back down the stairs and returning to cleaning his guns.
Liechtenstein read the note attached to the flowers, which were lilies, with a sigh.
