Shuuhei left gentle kisses all along Renji's forehead. "Tell me again Renji, tell me you love me."
"I love you Shuuhei. Always have, always will."
Shuuhei hummed softly. "I know," he snuggled closer to his boyfriend, "I just like hearing it, that's all."
Renji smoothed his thumb over Shuuhei's cheek and kissed his temple softly. "Your bein' so clingy wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that I'm leavin' tomorrow would it?"
Shuuhei tightened his arms around the red head. "No..."
Renji looked down at him and saw he was pouting. A sure fire sign that he'd hit the nail on the head. "Shuuhei, it's gonna be alright, ya know that right?" The brunette nodded into his chest. Putting both of his arms around him Renji kissed the spiky black hair beneath his chin. "I'm sorry..."
Shuuhei shook his head. "Don't be sorry, just promise to come back to me." He looked up and they were close enough that Renji could see the green in his normally dark eyes.
"I'll do everything I can to make sure I do, but I can't promise Shuu... you know that."
He tucked his head in tighter against Renji's neck and clutched at his kimono. "I can't lose you... I... I just can't."
Renji nodded. "I know Shuuhei." He kissed his hair again stroking his fingers through the spiky black mess. "I'll come back to you. Whatever it takes. I'll come back."
