A One Piece Fanfic
Part one- Old Friends
((A.N. Alright. This story happens during the Louge Town arc. If you don't know what that is, oh well. Enjoy and review!))
Sanji walked down the back alleys of Louge Town. Ussop disappeared for the second time that day and he was getting quite annoyed. Then something hit his back. He turned around, quite pissed, when he saw it was just a girl. She had shoulder length dirty blonde hair worn back in a bandana. She wore a navy blue peasant blouse and baggy grey pants. She then quickly apologized and clambered up a stack of boxes onto a roof. 'I wonder what that was about?' he thought. Then he heard distant shouts.
"She went down this way! Colonel Smoker will kill us if we don't get her. NOW GO!"
"YES SIR!"
Then Sanji saw three navy men come towards him. One of them, most likely the leader of the small group, saluted to him and asked, "Pardon me sir, but have you seen a young girl run past here?"
He stared at them and said, "Yes, I have." He then heard a small gasp from the roof. The guards looked up. "She went that way." Sanji said, taking their attention away from the roof. He then pointed them in an eastward direction. When they were out of sight, he yelled, "You can come down now. They're gone."
The girl leapt from the roof. With happiness in her eyes she gratefully thanked him, hugging him. Sanji let her do this for a while, but then he asked, "Why is the navy chasing a kid like you?"
She looked at him and said, "It's a long story."
Then Sanji suddenly remembered what he was doing. "I have to go now." Thinking out loud, he said "Ussop, where the hell are you?"
The girl's head snapped up. "Did you say Ussop?" she said in a rush. Sanji nodded. "I know where he might be. Follow me!" she grabbed Sanji's arm and dragged him along behind her. When she stopped, they were looking at Ussop, talking to a salesman and buying everything in sight. Ussop then slowly looked at the girl. "Keila?" he said.
The girl smiled. He and the girl ran towards each other and held hands. "After all these years." Ussop said. ".I finally get to see you again." Sanji stared at the two of them. He didn't understand what was going on at all. Then the two of them finally see each other. "Oh, I'm sorry Sanji," Ussop said, "This is Keila, one of my old friends and the first mate of a pirate crew."
