A loud disturbing knock was heard. A young raven haired stormy eyed girls eyes snapped open. Her name... Kagome Higurashi. Kagome pulled herself out of bed and opened a oak drawer and turned on a oil lamp she pulled out a jewelry box. It was carved out of a fine oak wood and carved on the front was a rose with thorns wrapped around the edges for framing. A medallion was pulled out, the madallion was made out of pure gold and on the top was a skull with bones in the shape of an X. It was a bit dusty considering it hadn't been used for a very long time. The knock was continued and it cracked open, it was her father.
"Still in bed at this hour..?" he chuckled and began to come in.
Quickly Kagome out on the necklace and stuffed it under her gown.
He held out a box to her.
"What is this..?"
"I have a gift for you!"
"What is the occasion..?"
"Can't a father give his daughter a gift..?"
"..."
"Well... its for the ceremony..."
"Kouga's..?"
"Yes.."
"... I should of known... "
Kagome went behind a screen and a maid followed she gasped as the maid tightened it more and more.
Finally when she was down she walked out.
"Ah! You see, it is the latest fashion in London!" (A/N it was London right..? Uh...)
"Well, people in London must of learned not to breathe!" Kagome spat between grinded teeth.
"Now now! Is that anyway for a lady to talk..?"
"..."
(A/N the dress looks just like POTC except it is blue.)
"Anyway... you look wonderful!"
"Wonderful..." Kagome said in a sarcastic almost mimicking tone.
Her father just eyed her very carefully.
"Anyway come on, now!"
Kagome groaned mentally and followed her father down the steps.
