Journeying ever forward
A/N: Standard disclaimer applies. This is my first attempt at a Kingdom Hearts fanfic.so I hope it doesn't turn out to be that bad. well, anyway.R&R!
Sora sat down I n the street where he had just witnessed Kairi being slain by an shadowed enemy. "Sora.was it a heartless..?" Rikku asked, trying to hide his emotions.
Sora found that he couldn't speak, he couldn't think, he could scarcely breathe. Slowly he stood up, and silently vowed that he would find who killed Kairi.little did he know.finding that person was not the hard part.
Three weeks passed, Sora stayed in Traverse Town with Yuffie and Squall. They were searching other world's for any signs of mischievous activity that could be associated with Kairi's death.
"What about this?" yuffie said holding up a paper. "It says here that the activities in Halloween Town are worse than usual."
"It's probably just those Lock, Jhack, and Barrel bras Sora told us about." Squall said calmly, searching through the papers to Atlantica.
"I'll go check it out anyway.just to be sure." Sora said, uttering his first full sentence since Kairi's death. "Who knows, it may be worth it."
"Alright Sora." Yuffie said. "Who do you want to go with you?"
"Just Rikku."
Rikku glanced up at Sora. "So, are we finally leaving then?" He asked.
"Yeah Rikku.we're going now."
The two boarded the gummi ship and directed it to Halloween Town. "If we use the Warp Drive we can be there in a matter of hours." Rikku reminded.
Sora smiled at him emptily. "I know Rikku, and I plan to use it, we can't have him getting away now can we..?"
HALLOWEEN TOWN
"Two years in a row Jack!" The mayor howled in pure agony. "Two years where the Halloween celebration has had to be cancelled! I thought that you said that once Oogy Boogey and the heartless that things would go back to normal?"
"Yes.that's what I thought.But it seems that something else has found a way to enter different worlds.and this time it's up to us to save Halloween Town!" Jack said grimly.
"You mean up to you Jack, no one else here can help you." The mayor said equally as grim as Jack.
"Then I will do it myself then!" And with that Jack went off to the graveyard to fight the new intruders. unaware that what lay in wait was far too strong for him.and equally as unaware of the approaching help that was now just passing Agrabah.
