Sorry for my mistakes. I'm not a native speaker but I'm working hard to improve my English. I hope that you like my story; anyway, both laudations and criticism are welcome so please press the tiny button over there and let me know your opinion. Thanks a lot!
Gabriella's home.
Gabriella opened her eyes and smiled. It was summer, a dim ray of light was coming through the window to greet her and everything was fine.
Everything except the fact that she was cheating on her boyfriend and moreover she had no intention to stop.
Gabriella loved Troy, she truly did. He was the perfect boyfriend, caring, loving until devotion, kind and cute. The problem was that she loved Ryan too, Ryan with his evil side, Ryan, the hot, handsome drama king who was able to make her taste the exciting, forbidden aspects of life that Troy didn't even know.
She turned her head and kissed gently the blonde's cheek.
"Hey, Ry, you have to wake up."
"Mmm."
"Come on, my mother is going to get up soon, you must go away."
"You know I love adventure, and that a secret relationship suits my character perfectly, but I hate the fact that I have to wake up before the rising of the sun and go away as a thief."
"Nobody has to know."
"If I could stay a little bit more, I think I can change this boring morning into quality time." he whispered kissing her neck.
Troy's home.
It was eight o'clock in the morning and Troy was already exhausted. Since the temperature had risen up in the past few days, his daily practise session started every morning at five o 'clock. He was due to run five miles, to do a hundred suicides and then there were exercises and the match against his father.
When the practise finished, at nine o 'clock, he was drenched in sweat and barely able to stand on his feet.
Anyway, listening to what Jack usually said after their sessions, Troy was never working hard enough.
"What was that?" he shouted when he saw Troy losing the ball. "I'm forty and I can still take the ball from you as easily as I used to do when you were ten!"
"I'm sorry." he whispered.
"You don't need to be sorry! You need to be better than this! You must be better than this!"
"I will."
When the practice finished, Troy reached his bed and laid without moving. Every single muscle in his body was aching badly and fatigue made his legs shake slightly.
He was used to this kind of sensations. However, that morning he felt something different. Although the weather was hot and dry, as soon as he stopped running and doing exercises he felt cold. His eyelids seemed to be extremely heavy, and a weird sensation of dizziness was threatening to overwhelm him. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain to the lower part of his abdomen, so bad that it stopped his breathing.
In the past few days, he had been feeling more and more tired. He had never thought that something could be wrong before, he was sure that stress and fatigue were the only explanations for his weakness, but he doubted that this pain could have something to do with practice.
He hoped to get better soon. In no way he could tell his father that he was sick.
PS I know this chapter is short, I promise the next one will be longer. Let me know if I should continue it or not.
