He sees the beer ad. Sees Carmen laid out on the sand, dark hair pooling around her shoulders in sensual waves. Crystalline irises staring into the lens with a flirty casual air. A small barely there smile on her lips. And he remembers. Remembers back in Lawrence, Kansas. Back before the Yellow-Eyed son of a bitch torched the heart of his family. Before hunting became the Winchester way of life. Back when he was a normal happy 4 year-old in preschool.
He remembers that little girl in the violet sundress, with the too-cute pigtails, cherubic face and doll-like eyes; his playmate with the Lego blocks- Carmen. How when they were asked what they wanted to be when they grew up she had said she wanted to be like the people on the t.b and magzeens.
He smiled a sad smile remembering his recent run-in with the djinn. Him and Carmen.

I was reading and I came across some WIAWSNB stories, and I thought- hey, the djinn world was based in logic. Carmen couldn't have just come from a magazine ad. This is my back-story for it. Hope you enjoyed.
