Disclaimer: I do not own Kyo Kara Maoh!
A/N: Normally, I wouldn't write Shonen-Ai; not that I don't like this pairing; it just isn't something that comes naturally to me. But this particular idea got stuck in my head today, so I just wrote it down. It's actually more of a drabble then an actual one-shot. Oh well here goes.
Stay By Your Side:
"Yuri!" The blonde noble burst in, to the demon king's quarters.
The dark haired half human looked up warily at his fiancée. "Hey Wolfram; what're you doing here?"
"Heard you got back from your world, thought I'd stop by," he replied nonchalantly, plopping down on the sofa across from me.
"Now's not really the best time," Yuri said, pointing to his books, "I have a test coming up back home, and I have to study. I can't talk."
"That's fine," he replied, clearly not bothered, "We won't talk."
So they didn't, at least not for a little while. Yuri studied, while Wolfram sat there just watching him.
'Doesn't he get bored of that?' The demon king wondered.
Yuri cleared his throat, finally looking up at the blonde. "Wolfram, can I ask you something?"
"Just did," the other boy replied in monotone.
"Eh, I mean..." he began.
Wolfram let out a sigh, "Wimp," he muttered under his breath, "Go ahead, and ask."
"I am not a wimp!" Yuri began, but continued with his other thought anyways, "Why are you always so protective of me?"
"What a stupid question," the other boy replied, "because I'm your fiancée; duh!"
The dark haired one groaned.
"Does it bother you?" it was the blonde's turn to ask.
"What?" Yuri said confused by what he was asking.
"That I'm always near you," Wolfram said again clearing up the question.
"No," Yuri said, "I just asked."
"Good."
"Huh?"
"Then I will."
"Will what?"
"Then I'll keep staying by your side," Wolfram said, sighing at Yuri's clueless attitude, "Because I'm your fiancée.
Yuri smiled briefly, "Thank you, Wolfram."
"Eh, whatever; you're such a mushy wimp."
"Hey! You started it!" Yuri tried to counter.
"Yeah, yeah, keep studying for the test you'll need it." Wolfram said leaning back into his sofa.
"What's that suppose to mean?!"
But the question was left unanswered.
A/N: Well there it is, my drabble. Hope you liked, please review.
