Naruto
Setting: Konoha, 3 years into the future after Naruto Shippuden. The characters are now all 18/19 years old. Other than the characters growing older, not too much has changed.
Things of note for each character:
() Naruto has finally become a chuunin. He perfected the 4th's wind technique and has a few other new tricks up his sleeve. Akatsuki is still after the demon fox inside of him, but hasn't been very active in the pursuit due to an encounter with him a year earlier that left them needing to rethink their plan of capturing him.
() Sakura is one of the top medical ninjas in the leaf village. She has amazing precision and point control. She's even created a few medical techniques on her own. She still hopes to get Sasuke to return, but has to follow orders.
() Sasuke has finally managed to get the power that he needed to take down both Orochimaru and Itachi, but he doesn't know what to do now. He cannot return to the leaf village nor does he have any real purpose. He was offered a place in Akatsuki, but threatened to kill them all instead, though they all backed off.
() Neji has finally had the curse seal removed and is no longer resentful of the main branch, not entirely anyway. He has created even more techniques with his Byakugan. He is currently under consideration to become a member of ANBU, but has not made any decisions as to what he wants to do.
() Lee is still ever-faithful to Gai-sensei. He continues to train hard and pushes himself through hard work and determination. He has undergone a surgery that was able to repair a few of his charka points, so he is now capable of a few ninjutsus, but no genjitsus.
() Tenten still trains with Lee and Neji. Her arsenal of weaponry has expanded significantly, but the large scroll she used to carry is now the size of a pair of chopsticks. She has even had the opportunity to master some taijutsu.
() Hinata has undertaken a bit of medical training and has proven to be very adept at it, especially with the help of her Byakugan. She has become a bit more assertive and has stopped fainting everytime she sees Naruto.
() Shikamaru is just as lazy as he always was. The only thing that he really isn't lazy about is when it comes to helping Kurenai take care of her and Asuma's child, since Asuma was killed earlier. He's grown quite protective over the little boy. He still likes playing shogi, but doesn't really enjoy playing as much without Asuma. When he isn't being lazy, he is an extremely skilled ninja and has mastered more than a dozen different techniques with his shadow manipulation jutsus.
() Ino has become a bit more pig-headed than ever. She's blunt about most things to other people and is usually not afraid to hurt other people's feelings. She hasn't improved too much as a ninja, but she is fair medical techniques.
() Temari visits Konoha often. She is usually there for either diplomacy reasons or training. Often times, Gaara will send her out on missions with the Konoha ninjas.
() Other characters may be mentioned on occasion, but they will not have undergone any drastic changes. If there is a change, I'll mention it.
Ok guys, I set up the characters, but I want this to be a story with actual input from the readers. I want you to respond and pair up all these characters (heterosexually please) and I'll pull together the beginning from the story from that. I may occasionally ask for other input, but we'll see how that goes. This will definitely be a romance/action story, though I haven't decided how mature it is going to be.
