Riza's eyelids shut tighter as sun shown through her blinds on the window. She covered her face with her lumpy pillow, trying to get more shut eye before her alarm went off and told her to get ready for work.
Before she could even get back relaxed, her alarm started barking. Of course her alarm was Black Hayate, since a normal clock couldn't wake her most of the time. Hesitantly, Riza sat up in the bed, trying hard to wake herself from the deep sleep. A ringing made her more alert and she glanced at the phone.
"Who the hell calls at 4:30 in the morning...?" She picked up the phone and gave a grogy hello.
"Good morning." Said a female voice on the other end of the line.
Riza smiled softly to herself. She knew today would go by better now.
