Epilogophilia – Angie's Choice
Former prostitute Angie Bloom goes into hiding after witnessing a murder. Before disappearing, she decides to saddle Judge Hardcastle with her two kids for safekeeping. After an attempt is made to kidnap the boy and girl, the judge locates Angie, who then tells him about the murder. Hardcastle and McCormick nail the murderer, and Angie and the kids move north to live with her sister.
Epilogue – by Owlcroft
"Hey, Judge. You see this article about that accident up north? Two little kids were run over by a garbage truck." McCormick held up the paper he was reading.
"Yeah, I did see that." Hardcastle looked up briefly and shook his head. "Those kids sounded familiar somehow. I dunno." He went back to his reading.
"Oh, well." Mark tossed his section of the paper aside. "You through with the sports yet?"
