I Am The Future

A Resident Evil fanfic about the death of Dr. Sam Isaacs, the primary antagonist in Resident Evil: Extinction. Isaacs has become one of my favorite villains so far. And the Resident Evil films are great, so why not make a tribute to one of my favorite characters of the movie. It's written in Isaacs perspective.

I punched the original Alice, but my attack missed and I instead hit the wall.

I turned around and saw her grabbing her knife. We circled around each other for a while before I attacked. But she dodged and sliced me. And then she sliced me again. This time at my mutated shoulder. Not that it mattered where she hit me, I can't be killed.

She launched at me and I grabbed her arms. Then I kicked her away at the wall, but not before she sliced my stomach.

She fell to the wall and looked at me. My stomach recovered fast and I said to her, just to make it clear "you can't kill me."

Clearly she didn't believe me as she stood up and ran to her knife that was laying on the ground. Quickly I raised my arm and my tentacles rapped around her neck. I saw as she tried in vain to reach the knife below her arm.

I finally had her at my mercy. She was the one who could save us all, now I know better.

Then she kicked on the loose floor tile and the knife sprung in the air. She grabbed it and sliced my tentacles. I heard her couching after, and my arm with tentacles reached for her again. But they suddenly stopped dead in their tracks.

Probably those damn powers of her.

And then my tentacles flew back to me, and the floor titles where blown to bits. And above that I felt an invisible pull against me who blew me behind the wall. Yet it didn't matter as I stood up soon. I've become a perfect being, my mutation was a better outcome then I ever dreamed.

I saw her laying on the ground with her head in her hands. At the sight of me she stood up. "I told you. I can't die" I told her.

I let out a bursting scream that blew everything across the room away. And even her, as she flew backwards and fell trough the wall in the hallway grid. I directly walked past the broken wall and into the hallway as I saw her trying to crawl away from me.

But when I came closer she stood up and kicked me in the face.

She engaged me into a fistfight as she dealt punches and kicks to me. Until I ferociously grabbed her arm and pushed her down onto the ground.

She laid there on the ground and looked at me with a dark look. "For so long I thought you where the future" I told her. She turned her face away from me "I was wrong."

"I am the future" I told her.

I proceeded to attack but then I heard her. Laugh. She wasn't afraid, she was just laughing at me. "No. You're just another asshole" she told me. Then I heard a sound, but Alice told me "now where both gonna die down here."

Then I turned around and saw that the laser grid was activated. It turned into an weapon that not I couldn't dodge and it hit me. I felt a great pain all over my body.

I felt myself falling apart but not before I heard someone saying.

"Yea you're the future alright."

So that was it. I know it wasn't that much, but it's the first fanfic I wrote in a long time. And I'm sure a lot of Resident Evil fanfics will be made by me. This was just the first. All the greetings of Lord Shockwave.
