Vanessa let the tears fall down her face, she couldn't believe she was losing her husband, her true love, her high school sweet heart, her best friend…
"Ferb, don't let go" Vanessa said between tears.
"I have to, love" He cooed softly.
"No, baby, I can get help," she paused and sniffed "I'll be back in time"
Just as she was ready to go, she felt soft hand grab her arm. She turned to Ferb, "Sweetie, it's no use; I don't have a lot of time left."
Vanessa couldn't stand it anymore, him talking all this nonsense. "Ferb, stop it. You are talking crazy. Either because we're in the middle of a freezing rain storm, the amount of blood you've lost or both" She quickly wiped her eyes. Why couldn't he let her go?
"If you leave-" he took in a sharp breath and continued. "And I pass while you're gone. I wouldn't be able to see you for the last minutes of my life; I'd be alone."
"But, I can make it back Ferb. I can, let me go" She pleaded.
"No, let me go first, we will see each other again. But for now, I'll go and wait for you."
Vanessa could no longer hold her tears back; she let them fall down her cheeks landing on her lap.
For a few seconds, Ferb listened to Vanessa cry. She lifted her head up as she felt Ferb take her hand. "Don't cry love," Vanessa looked deep into Ferb's eyes listening to every word he said.
"The last thing I want to see in my life on Earth is not your blue eyes crying in the rain. I want to see your beautiful smile, I want to smell your chocolaty scent, I want to feel your gentle but powerful hugs, I want to taste your lips against mine, but most of all I want to hear you tell me you love me- one last time, because Vanessa, darling I love you and nothing, not even death itself can break our strong bond of love"
She gave Ferb's hand a squeeze and gave him the smile he'd asked for; Ferb gave her a faint smile in return.
Vanessa leaned down and gave him a hug and long kiss on his lips. She wiped a tear on her cheek and said "I love you, Ferb"
He tried his best to give her a small smile, "As do I, love"
She bent over and gave him a kiss on the cheek, and felt his last puff of breath on his face.
She squeezed his hand "I love you Ferb," and she let out a small smile. "I love you, so much."

Sad, I know. DDx I'll be honest I felt some tears coming. There was this one story that I burst into tears reading "One Week" so sad. It's a PnF fic. I'll try to type another one. I have a whole notebook of 13 different things I have to type…so….yeah.
