The million dollar question: if you can have one wish granted (that isn't for more wishes), what would you wish for?
Chizuru would wish for a time machine, so she can return to the beginning, before it all began. No, not to the moment she found out about the Ochimizu, not even to the day she first met the Shinsengumi. If she could, Chizuru would go back to the time before she left Edo, and this time, she would stay there.
Those were the days before Kazama, before the rasetu, the days free of a maniacal father-turned-uncle, and of the lovely agony she had come to associate with the Shinsengumi. Those were the most carefree days of her life.
And if people called her a coward, so what? She never claimed otherwise.
Author's Notes: I think most of us, under the same circumstances, would have felt this way at some point. As for Chizuru… does anyone else find her just a tiny bit masochistic?
