A Fallen Captain walked through a bloody hallway of The Reef, the stench of dead Awoken guards made him crinkle his nose in disgust for such an unclean and honorless death.
He never thought it'd come to this treachery to the Queen to whom they pledge allegiance to in return for her honorable victory over his house's Kell and brought them to The Reef in exchange for work in the name of the Queen and the Reef.
He let out a long and tired sigh as he opened to door to the Queen's throne-room, wishing not to anger her more than thought possible from his years serving her approached cautiously.
The Fallen saw as the dead Awoken fought to the very end but were overwhelmed and crushed, he saw the Queen and her Brother standing tensely as he stopped just before them and kneeled as he bowed his head in shame.
"My Queen." He greeted her as he placed his words carefully.
"Xelsis, do you realize what your people have done?" She asked, her voice as cold as ice.
Xelsis swallowed the spit in his mouth as he said, "Yes your highness, my people have foolishly betrayed you and the Reef."
"Good, and do you know why they've betrayed me?" The Queen questioned him.
"Skolas…He has quite the Silver Tongue, he appealed to the house with his foolish ambitions of creating a stronger Fallen race by uniting the houses and even set himself as Kell." Xelsis answered truthfully.
"Now there's the main question Xelsis, who do you follow?" She asked to see where his true loyalty lies and she was pleasantly satisfied with his reply.
"You and The Reef of course as well as the remaining Loyal Fallen Wolves that share my sentiment my Queen." He said as he stared into her eyes to show his seriousness in following her will and the Reef.
"You've chosen your words wisely Xelsis, unfortunately the actions of your House has lead me to doubt whether I can trust you or the remaining loyal Fallen." The Queen told him.
"Then allow me to redeem myself and the House by hunting down the traitors and Skolas, he will pay for damaging the Fallen's ties to you my Queen." Xelsis Declared to the Queen.
"We shall see Xelsis but how will you find them? There are many Ketches in the Solar System and what makes you so sure you'll find Skolas?" The Queen's Brother asked him.
Suddenly the door opened allowing a Fallen Baroness garbed in Black Fallen House of Shadows Armor, Xelsis pulled out his Shock Pistol at the Intruder as she stared amused at him.
"Aw no family hug brother?" She teased as Xelsis grunted in annoyance.
"I don't have time for your nonsense Kaliris, unless you have information about the whereabouts of Skolas then go back to your wretched House." He growled out as he kept his hand on the trigger.
Kaliris put her Low left hand on her hips as she said, "Well it just so happen we saw on Europa House of Wolves with their Kell asking of our allegiance to him, naturally we showed him our answer by killing some of his men, it was entertaining to see the Ketch running for the hills off of the planet although I think he was looking for something…anyways I think he fled to the Inner Solar System." She finished her tale.
"Then Xelsis shall start his search there and use any means necessary to hunt down the treacherous Wolves." The Queen said with Finality as she dismissed the Fallen.
"Kaliris you shall assist me in hunting down the wolves, I shall contact the Spartans to help me in the endeavor." He said as he and Kaliris walked to the door.
"Very well brother, I shall enjoy this little sibling bonding session." She teased Xelsis as he groaned.
'Soon the Wolves shall be redeemed and the queen may allow us to return home.' Xelsis hoped as the two set off to find and bring Skolas to justice.
