Wait.
Fuyu- a small little drabble that refused to leave me alone. From one of my other stories.
Pairing: Kanda and female Allen.
Tragedy/ Romance. Rating: Teen.
Summery: she was gone. Kanda had nothing left after they took her from his life.
Do you really think I own DGM?
----------- Story
Wait- to remain or rest at expectation
To tarry until another catches up
It didn't matter any more. Allen was gone. They took her away.
She kissed his cheek, just the passing of skin against skin. His skin heated and she giggled, kissing his lips. It took him a few moments, but he returned it shyly; it was his first kiss, he had the right to be nervous. She said nothing about it, simply slipping her arms around him.
Their second kiss was better; he initiated it, a chaste kiss. He had slipped his tongue slipped out experimentally, darting briefly into hers. She responded in kind, savoring the lingering flavor of soba.
It was never sex. They made love, only a handful of times. But it was never sex. 'Sex' was too impersonal. They made love, bringing each other to completion before collapsing into the throes of sleep. They would whisper soft words and plant butterfly kisses on each other's lips and faces.
Their last night together was simple. They held each other, telling the soft darkness just how much they loved each other. There were no tears. They made love, planned the wedding they would never have, describing the appearance of their non-existent children, kissing and cuddling.
They never slept.
To sleep would mean to wake alone.
Eyes fluttered briefly, only to be kissed open.
They made no comments about the dawn, whose shades they loved do much.
When they came, it was an exchange of two phrases.
There was no burial. She wasn't worth it. Neither was he.
Wait for me.
. . .
Forever.
Fin.
Sorry if I ruined your day. I needed it out of my head.
