As she kissed Jacob the hole in her heart grew and Edwards face appeared in Bella's mind. Bella pulled away and covered her face with her hands. Edward had left her 4 months ago stranded in the woods. She felt tears coming out of her eyes." Bells what wrong," Jacob asked. She could feel his frown and concerning eyes. "I…I just feel sick," Bella said wiping her tears without removing her hands off her face. Jacob grabbed her hands and held hers in his. "Bells your lying." She lifted her eyes to see his frown. "Jacob you know I wouldn't lie to you. I'm going to freshen up." Jacob's frown deepened and he started checking his motorcycle. " It's been 4 months I should be over Edward now," Bella thought. Bella looked at the mirror and thought, "I can't do this anymore. Edward is my soul mate." She splashed her face and took a deep breath. She walked into the garage, and she got a surprise of Jacob no being there. She walked around thinking he was just playing tricks with her, then her eyes landed on a envelope with her name on it. She opened it slowly and saw that it was from Jacob.
"Bella I can see that you're still not over Edward. I know I'm being a jerk by not telling you in person but I think we should be friends. I don't want to but I can see that us being a couple hurts you so I'm going to end this. I know that it hurts but I need some time to be alone. I'll call you when I'm ready to be friends. She let out a deep breath, put the paper in her pocket, and went home.
