Hello everyone, nightmare here with a request by lexboss. This first chapter is going to be on the short side and rated for later chapters. Enjoy.
Steven Quartz Universe sat on the edge of the cliff, staring down at the ocean below. Lion walked up behind and sat down next to him, "Hey Lion," Steven smiled and patted the pink lion's mane before standing up, "I'm going for a walk. Let Perl, Amethyst and Garnet I'll be back later," he turned and walked away, leaving Lion in confusion.
Steven walked down the street, his hands in his pockets and his head slightly down. Looking up, he arched a brow when he spotted Lapis walking down the street, her head down, "What the…hey Lapis!" the blue gem stopped and looked back in confusion to see Steven running towards her.
Steven stopped in front of her and panted, "Hey…what are you doing here? I thought you and Pardot were-"
"I can't be around her right now, Steven," Lapis sighed and shook her head as she looked down, "Don't get me wrong. I appreciate you trying to help us out and everything, and Pardot is…she can be annoying at times." Steven arched a brow and Lapis took a deep breath, "That and I've been feeling like something has been missing in my life,"
"What could be missing? You have friends, a place to live and your gem was restored a while back,"
"Hmm…I can't believe I'm trying to explain this to a child. I'm lonely Steven, I don't know what to say besides that." Steven frowned and Lapis shook her head, "I don't miss home world, I miss the gem I was destined to spend eternity with…but then the war broke out and we got separated…I'm here on earth and I…I just…I don't know,"
She sighed as she sunk down to the ground and hugged her knees to her chest, "I feel like I'm all alone and nothing will-"
"But I already told you that you're not alone, Lapis," Steven sat down next to her and began to comfort her, "You're got tons of people who care about you." Lapis sighed and shook her head before hugging the young boy next to her.
Okay, I know this first chapter is short, like extremely short, but it's the first chapter. As always enjoy everyone and please let me know what you all think and rated for reasons.
