"Don't you dare forget about me…Sora." He was joking then.

"You got it."

I stared plainly at the blood red sunrise. This was your favorite time of day. Too bad you're not here to see it.

"Where are you now…" I said to myself. "Riku?" I stood by the twisted tree on the edge of our island.

Whenever I can't sleep I come here. This was our spot. Ever since we were kids. I remember how it was with you by my side…

I thought it was too quiet. "Hey Riku?"

"Yeah?" He replied without turning his head.

"What're you looking at?"

"Just this." He held a curious object in his hands.

"What is it?" I asked.

"A paopu fruit." he answered with a small smile. He took a bite out of it and passed it to me. "Do you know what it does?" he quizzed.

"Uh, I'm not sure…" I drew a blank.

"Taste it and I'll tell you." I couldn't decipher his expression.

I grinned, reminiscent. He never did tell me.
