Author's Note: Yep, another Christmas fanfic. This just sort of came to me, and it amused me greatly, so here you be, many days before Christmas but close enough to Christmas that you've probably seen some over achiever out there try to put up Christmas lights right now instead of later. X3

Sasha should have known better than to leave Razputin alone with Christmas lights.
First of all, Razputin was not mechanically or technically inclined. He simply wasn't. He was a psychic prodigy, a well trained acrobat, and very good at thinking on his feet. As a general rule, Razputin was far ahead of everyone his age, but everyone has an area in which they are weak. Anything that involved electricity, Razputin was terrible with.
Second of all, the Christmas lights had been tangled – er, packed away, by Milla, so there was no psychic on Earth capable of untangling them single-handedly. The once professionally looped lights were now a massive, ever shifting ball of bulbs and wire. Sasha cringed to look at it.
But he was short on time, and Raz had lots of time that day, so Sasha had given him the box, instructions, and his best wishes.
Five hours later, Raz was dangling from the ceiling fan, the lights wrapped around his arms and legs in a way that, it seemed to the young Psychonaut, meant that the lights wanted to devour him as one of their own. He didn't know how it happened. It had, however, happened an hour ago, and by the time Sasha arrived home, Raz had used his mind to turn on the TV and was calmly watching the news at six. The blood was rushing to his head, but the initial feeling of nausea had passed, so other than feeling a bit tired, he was okay. This was actually kind of nice.
The German Psychonaut stared for a moment.
"Couldn't figure them out, could you?"
"Nope." Raz said with that optimistic, highly Raz 'at least I tried' tone of voice.
"Would you like me to get you down?" Sasha asked, eyeing the lights.
"No thanks," Razputin replied, "It's kind of cozy. Could you just turn the TV upside down and hand me a candy cane?"
"Of course," Sasha replied with a chuckle. "I knew it was a good idea to leave you alone with Christmas lights."
