Note: Naruto is an anime that was done by the studio Pierrot and is based on a manga by Masashi Kishimoto.

Naruto Uzumaki started dancing around the village while wearing a gold chain and rapping. Naruto's friends, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, didn't see Naruto yet, but they sure could hear him. Sakura asked, "What's that terrible sound?"

Sasuke said, "It sounds like a really crappy attempt at rapping."

Sakura asked, "How would you know what rapping sounds like?"

Sasuke sounded embarrassed while saying, "I tried to be a rapper. It was ten years ago and I didn't do such a good job, but I sounded better than this nonsense."

Naruto walked up to Sasuke and Sakura and asked, "What's up?"

Sakura stared at Naruto and said, "Your singing voice totally sucks."

Naruto looked offended while saying, "Wow, you're more honest than I want you to be."

Sasuke said, "Naruto, I don't mean to be rude, but what made you try to rap?"

Naruto asked, "Can I explain it while rapping?"

Sasuke and Sakura screamed, "No!".

Naruto replied, "Okay then." He paused and said, "I'm trying to impress Hinata."

Sasuke asked, "Who's Hinata?"

Sakura was surprised by how bad Sasuke's memory was so she poked him on the head and said, "She's a regular character on the show."

Sasuke replied, "Well, I don't regularly pay attention. Besides, Code Geass is the anime I watch the most."

Naruto asked, "What about Tamayura?"

Sasuke and Sakura both asked, "What's that?" Naruto facepalmed.

Sakura said, "Anyways, being a bad rapper won't impress Hinata. She doesn't even care about rapping which makes your rapping gimmick pointless and foolish."

Naruto jumped around while saying, "But I don't know what else Hinata likes."

Sakura sighed and asked, "Do you know anything about your crush?"

Naruto shrugged his shoulders and said, "I guess that I barely know anything." Sasuke nodded in agreement.

Sakura said, "I assure you that rapping isn't going to impress her. Try something more charming."

Naruto thought about what he should do. After thinking for five minutes he asked, "Should I throw dozens of water balloons at her?"

Sasuke laughed and said, "That would be an LOL event bro."

Sakura folded her arms and said, "That would be a dumb event that would lead to Hinata losing her respect for Naruto."

Sasuke was confused so he asked, "Why would anybody respect Naruto?" Naruto was mad at Sasuke so he threw dozens of water balloons at him. Sasuke was secretly storing water balloons in his jacket so he pulled them out and threw them at Naruto.

Naruto started walking home. He got soaked from the water balloons so there was water pouring across the street. Hinata looked around and saw Naruto. She said, "Hi Naruto."

Naruto replied, "Um, hi Hinata. What's up in the house?"

Hinata said, "Um, we aren't in a house."

Naruto replied, "It's a cool expression."

Hinata said, "I'm afraid I don't understand your expressions."

Naruto proudly replied, "I'm a really expressive person."

Hinata noticed that Naruto was soaked so she asked, "Did you fall into a river?"

Naruto chuckled and said, "Nah, I got hit by water balloons."

Hinata replied, "Oh, are you okay?"

Naruto said, "Of course I am. The great and powerful Naruto can easily defeat some water balloons."

Hinata paused for a long moment. She had been wanting to ask out Naruto for a long time, but she was really shy. She decided that this was her chance to be brave. She looked at Naruto and asked, "Are you free tonight?"

Naruto said, "I'm a person, not some kind of store item that's sold for a price."

Hinata blurted out, "I'm trying to ask you out on a date."

Naruto replied, "Um, that's surprising."

Hinata said, "Say yes. Um, only if you want to. I don't wanna seem bossy or anything."

Naruto replied, "Okay then."

Hinata asked, "Can you meet me at the fast food place that's across from my house?"

Naruto said, "Um, okay. What time should I be there?"

Hinata replied, "Seven."

Naruto said, "Okay." Naruto thought about giving Hinata a hug goodbye, but he was too embarrassed to do that. He shook her hands and ran away.

Naruto ran around the village and found Sasuke and Sakura. Naruto faced Sasuke and asked, "Do you have a watch dude?"

Sasuke said, "My watch got stolen by a cat."

Sakura said, "It's 3:00 p.m." Naruto nervously screamed.

Sasuke giggled and said, "It seems like Naruto's scared of the number three."

Naruto replied, "Be mature."

Sasuke said, "I'm not the one who's scared of five plus two."

Naruto replied, "Five plus two equals seven, not three."

Sasuke was embarrassed by his mistake so he said, "It was a small mistake."

Naruto said, "I have a date with Hinata at seven."

Sasuke asked, "Then why were you screaming earlier?"

Naruto explained, "I don't know what kind of clothes to wear or what type of voice I should use."

Sasuke replied, "Do a British accent."

Sakura angrily asked, "Do you two goofballs know anything about getting ready?"

Naruto and Sasuke both said, "No."

Sakura looked at Naruto and said, "You need to dress as nicely as possible. Don't wear any dumb rapper clothes and don't do any silly voices."

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura went to Naruto's house. Sakura started digging through Naruto's closet to find Naruto an appropriate outfit to wear to the date. Sakura rejected several outfit choices including a clown costume, a pony costume, a cheerleading uniform, and a bunch of superhero costumes.

Sasuke looked at Naruto's closet and said, "You got some nice costumes. I should borrow them when I go out with Sakura."

Sakura screamed, "No!"

Sasuke whispered to Naruto, "Sakura's the Rarity of anime fashion judges."

Sakura said, "I finally found an outfit that's suitable for you." She pointed to a plain white shirt and a pair of jeans.

Naruto whined, "That outfit is boring. I want Hinata to think I'm special, not some kind of bland boredom."

Sasuke replied, "You're obnoxious, goofy, freaky, and a terrible singer, but you aren't bland or boring."

Naruto said, "Aww, thanks Sasuke. You're a real friend."

Sasuke stood around with his hands on his hips and replied, "I'm an excellent friend."

Sakura said, "Naruto, the outfit may be generic, but you are different. Hinata knows that and that's why she likes you. Go put on the outfit and get ready for your date."

Naruto asked, "Is there anything else that I have to do?"

Sakura said, "You have to take a shower."

Naruto replied, "But I took a shower this morning."

Sakura responded, "Just take a shower."

Naruto sighed and said, "Okay."

A few hours later Naruto arrived at the fast food place. Naruto walked up to one of the employee. The employee asked, "Do you want another bucket of leftovers?"

Naruto said, "I would love that, but I have a date so I want look more professional. Do you any chicken that's expired, but hasn't been expired for that long."

The employee asked, "What do you mean?"

Naruto asked, "Do you have any chicken that expired two days ago?"

The employee said, "We have over five buckets of that stuff."

Naruto replied, "I'll have two of those buckets for now and save the other three for tomorrow's leftovers."

The employee smiled and said, "Great choice Naruto."

Naruto sat down at one of the tables. Hinata walked in a few minutes later and ordered her dinner. She was wearing a light green dress. She sat down at the table and said, "Hi Naruto. You look nice today."

Naruto replied, "Thank you. You look spectacular."

Hinata blushed and said, "Thank you."

Naruto wondered about what he should talk about. He considered talking about himself, but he realized that it might make him sound like he's got a big problem. He thought about talking about Hinata, but he didn't know that much about her. He considered talking about the films that he had watched recently, but Hinata wasn't an expert on films. To Naruto, his date was already starting to seem like a hopeless case.

Hinata looked at Naruto and said, "I'm glad that you agreed to go out with me. I've tried to ask you out several times."

Naruto asked, "Really?"

Hinata said, "Yeah, I was really nervous that you'd turn me down."

Naruto replied, "No way. I was the one that was truly scared about this date. I was worried that you'd think I was a lame weirdo."

Hinata responded, "I've never thought that. You are different, but there's nothing wrong with that. You don't have to be the leader of a group of normal loving people or anything like that to impress me. You impress me by just being yourself."

Naruto said, "And you impress me by being really sweet and beautiful."

Hinata replied, "Thank you Naruto. You're quite the sweet talker."

Naruto said, "My sweetness is nothing compared to yours. You're the sweetheart." Hinata was about to give Naruto a kiss, but the employee came by and accidentally dropped the chicken and it landed in Naruto and Hinata's hair. Naruto and Hinata were weirded and grossed out for a moment before getting over it and giving each other a kiss on the cheek. It was a weird date, but weirdness was something they didn't mind.
