"Are you planning on getting married?" Raven asks as the two of them had their daily lunch break. After both accusing the other of being too busy that even the simple but necessary act of eating the ladies agreed to a daily twenty minute break for food and company of each other.

"I don't think so." Abby replies her fingers rubbing the ring that once fit firmly on Jake's hand.

"Why not? You love him right?' She nods smiling. 'So why not?"

"Marcus and I are committed to each other in a way that works for us. I don't need a ceremony, papers signed, and witnesses to confirm what he means to me."

"You were married before."

"I was. And that was fitting for me and Jake. Marriage felt right with him. Hell I knew I wanted to marry him since I was ten. Our love lead down that path. It felt right in here." Abby moves her hand down to her chest.

"And you don't feel the same about Marcus?" There is a sadness in Raven's face that she tries to hide.

"Do I love Marcus? Yes. Do I want to spend the rest of my days with him? Yes. But that desire to be his wife? No. I already gave that honor to one man."

"I just want you both to be happy." Abby leans over and pats her arm.

"We are. I promise."
