10 Things that Never Happened
1. Dean never came out to Sam.
"Me and Cas, we - ah - you know. We're kind of together, I guess."
"Good. That's good, that's great. I'm glad."
2. Sam never hit Dean.
"What happened to your face?!"
"Oh, some guy hit me a the bar, it was nothing. I took care of it."
"Was is Sam?"
"No, Cas, look don't worry. Everything is fine."
3. Cas never stole Baby.
"Where the hell have you been Cas? Dean's gonna kill you!"
"Does he know it was me?"
"Lucky for you, no."
"Don't tell him. Please, Sam."
4. Sam never lost the bet.
"I told you. Less than two years, and they'd be sucking faces."
"Shut up, Crowley."
5. Meg never died.
"I wonder how Meg is. What? What was that look for Sam? Dean?"
"Nothing Cas, we just, we aren't as fond as you are I guess."
"Oh."
6. Dean never said 'I love you.'
"Put your seatbelt on."
"I haven't had my seatbelt the whole ride Dean."
"Just put in on. I want you safe."
"I love you too."
7. Sam never walked in on them.
"So get thi- oh. Oh God. I'll just, okay."
8. Dean never brought Cas flowers.
"Why is there a bouquet on my bed?"
"I don't know man. It was probably Sam or something. I don't know."
"Oh. Thank you, Dean. They're beautiful."
"Wasn't me, man."
9. Cas never got cake instead of pie.
"What took you so long? Cas, we sent you to get like three things."
"Dean wanted pie."
"How does that justify you being gone for an hour? He would have been fine with cake."
"Well, I did bring back cake, but then I heard him tell you what he would do if I got cake. I had to get the pie. But the closest place that had cherry was Idaho."
10. Cas never recorded Dean singing karaoke.
"Are you getting this?"
"Yes. This is the definition of hilarity, right?"
"Yeah, Cas, this is...but if he asks, this never happened."
It's not as lame as I think it is, right? I actually really enjoyed writing this. Someone should write ficlets of these 10 things that never happened. I vote you.
