A/N: So, I'm apparently fighting with my laptop and fanfiction. Uploading password protected documents is a hassle, so the format's all wonky from copying and pasting.

I know this is super-short, just a drabble really, but I thought that I should upload something. Before you all decide to write me off as dead or whatever, anyways. Plus, writing it let me procrastinate studying for the 2 exams that are going to kick my butt tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it, because they are both literature exams and one looks to be horribly complex. Grr. I'm behind on the reading too, and I have homework. Yippee. Crap. I have to write a paper too...and do my laundry. Welcome to my life. At least writing fluff makes me happy.

It had been more than just a good night—I gloried in her soft laughter, the way that a mild blush crept upon her cheeks, the way her whispers wound their way into my heart. Tonight was perfect, surreal. No terrors lurking in the next shadow, no vague threats clouded our minds. Tonight it was about the two of us, Bella and me. For once her eyes were not on the clock, literally or figuratively, watching the passage of time. Tonight, her eyes were on me, solely me—just as mine were on her and her alone. Nothing between us, no questions of immortality or bloodlust. Just peace, serenity in its purest form.

Her eyes were half closed as she glanced at the clock and laughed. "Two o'clock Edward. It's abominably late," she yawned. "And you've made me completely forget the time," she chided, teasing reproach in her voice.

"Mm, I'm afraid you're mistaken," I murmured, breathing in the scent of her hair once again. "It's Daylight Savings Time… we get another hour."

Her eyes were suddenly soft, a sweet smile teasing the corners of her mouth. "A ghost hour….another hour to be in love with you….Another hour like the last one. I wish all of life were like that."

I drew her to me gently, brushing my lips against hers. "Then we'll just have to make it that way," I whispered softly.
