I can hear them, the scratching of talon like claws on aged wood, the growls of hungry rabid beasts. It's strange, I realise now how stupid I was; but it gave me the most joy. I saved my mother when I was nine but she can't save me, I know what they are, these creatures. Hellhounds, lumbering messes of flesh, bones and organs, the decomposing bodies of these evil creatures have never been caught on camera but I see them now as my deal has come to a close. I see their shadows and hear the sharp click of their claws pacing outside in the hallway. I shouldn't have made a deal with a demon as it only results in grief and death.

Ten years later and I know that the end is coming. The light surrounding the door may look heavenly; I know different. For me there is no heaven, only hell, the door won't hold them for long, it's only wood and it's old. My arms start bleeding from the demonic energy pulsating around me. I know as soon as they get through the door the blood won't stop, it keeps running in crimson pools. The door creaks and I fall to the floor…

My name is Adam Milligan-Winchester…

And I'm dying…

They're here
