Dear Mom,
Its me, Garfield. I wanted to write letters to you to keep in touch. A lot has happened in my life since Africa. I got brought in by the Doom Patrol, and this really nice lady Rita (also known as Elastic-Girl) took care of me. She reminded me of you. Then when I got a little older I quit the Doom Patrol (Mento was being a jerk) and was on my own for a while. I eventually made it to Jump City where I met my friends Robin, Starfire, Cyborg and Raven. And we formed the group called the Teen Titans. So it turns out my sakutia actually helped. I was able to meet so many people and help people who couldn't help themselves. And thanks to that I met my super amazing girlfriend Raven. Aw man mom she's amazing. She can be a little angry and pessimistic at times, but she's so cute when you get her to smile. And she has the prettiest amethyst eyes. You could get lost in them. I met my best friend Cyborg too. We always play video games together and do stuff together. He's like an older brother to me. And Robin, he's my leader. But he isn't just my leader, he's my good friend . He cheers me up when I'm down and encourages me to do better every day . Starfire is just fun to be with. She's so silly and we always have loads of fun together. I teach her different types of animals (she's an alien) and she teaches me her language , Tameranian. There the best friends I could ever ask for, and my life is happy right now . So I'll end it here, talk to ya later mom. I love you.

He finishes the letter and seals it up inside of an envelope. Putting it in a box and locking the box.
"I miss you mom.." His words were but a whisper as he let a tear fall from his eyes, quickly wiping it away and putting a smile on his face.
