Hey I'm from Germany and that's the first story I've ever written in English.

Thanks to my beta, who made this so much better. Thanks

Please tell me what you think.

Summary: This One Shot deals after Season 7 Finale. Everything happened as it did in the show, including Rory turning Logan's proposal down. They didn't have contact since then and never saw each other again. Now a few months after their break-up they meet again.

Rory just paid her coffee and sat down at one of the tables with her newspaper while she waited for her flight back to New York where she worked for the New York Times.

„Hey, Rory." She looked up from the newspaper, startled by this so well-known voice, and met these incredible brown eyes she'd grown to love in the past three years. „Logan" she said trying to sound nonchalant. "Hey."

„So what are you doing at San Francisco's airport?" Logan asked trying to do a little small talk. He had no idea why he talked to her. He'd just seen her sitting there with her coffee and couldn't help but wanting to talk to her.

„I'm flying back to New York today" Rory explained. "I was here for some work issues. And you?"

„I have to go to New York, too. My dad wants me there" Logan answered with this expression on his face Rory only knew too well. It was the Mitchum-look. Logan paused a moment thinking of how much he detested his father and then decided to change the topic. „So how have you been?"

„I've been fine" she answered and gave him a small smile. But that was a lie and she knew it. No matter how often she told anyone that she was happy. She wasn't fine. Quite the contrary, the last months without him had been awful. She thought she needed to tell him that she was fine because she'd turned down his proposal.

„That's nice" Logan said and Rory could see the disappointment and hurt raise in his eyes. "I'm glad you're happy." He looked at his watch. "I've to go now. It was nice seeing you again."

He walked away as fast as he dared to without conveying the impression he was fleeing. It just hurt so much seeing the love of his life, and not to be able to be together with her. They weren't together. Not anymore.

„Logan!" She suddenly shouted and he could hear her running towards him. „Please wait, I…have to tell you something."

He turned around not quite sure what to expect. She wasn't pregnant, was she? "Yeah...um, tell."

„Um…" She looked at her shoes suddenly finding them very interesting. She took a few breaths and then met these incredible brown eyes of his. She tried to read him as she always had been able to but not now. "Look, Logan, when you asked me to marry you I just wasn't ready. I didn't say no because I don't love you."

Don't love me?" He asked hopeful.

„I still love you." She mumbled. "I've never stopped loving you."

„You still love me?" Logan asked and couldn't help the smile that was creeping up his face.

„Yeah I do. But I know you aren't in love with me anymore" Rory rambled on. "I understand completely after what I did..."

„Rory, you don't know anything" Logan interrupted her and then pulled her closer to his body. „I could never stop loving you."

And then he pulled her flush against him and kissed her passionately.
