Always alone. At least that is how he felt. He had friends, he knew that. And they were good friends. But there was no significant girl for him. Laxus had Mira. Jellal had Erza, although they denied it. And who did Natsu have? Himself. That was it.

Natsu ran a hand through his thick salmon hair and closed his oxyen colored eyes. The young mage rested his arms against the balcony railing. He was lonely. He couldn't lie to himself any longer. He hated being alone, he just hated it. Yet no matter how hard he looked fofr the perfect girl for him, he just couldn't find her.

Natsu had met enough girls to know that when he met his perfect girl, he eould know her right away. He just knew it deep in his heart.

"What's wrong with you, flamebrain?" Grey asked.

Natus's head shot up. He hadn't even noticed Grey had joined him. He was leaning against the wall with Juvia beside him. Natsu smiled and laughed nervously.
"Im fine. No worries. You don't need to worry about me. Like I said, I'm fine. So, you don't need to worry." Natsu said quickly, the nervous tone very evident in his voice.

"Juvia thinks that Natsu-san's tone is very convincing." Juvia stated. Grey slid his gaze over Natsu again. After not wanting to call any attention to himself, he and Juvia left, leaving Natsu alone with his thoughts once again.

Natsu was just about to leave when he heard a peculiar noise. It sounded like a young girl screaming. Natsu wasted no time and ran to the source. HE got there faster than anyone else because of his dragon slayer speed.

When he reached his destination, Natsu came face to face with a cloaked figure. The figure was attacked by a group of muraders. Without even noticing, he sprang into action. Saving the, what seemed to be damsel in distress.

After saving the figure Natsu turned to face her.

"Hey." Natsu said.

The cloaked figure seemed to be lost in thought as she decided what to say.

"Um.. So, yeah. Thanks." She breathed before turning to leave.

Natsu stood in place confused. 'So I just saved her life and she's already leaving.' He wasn't going to have that so he started after her.

"Excuse me, Miss. What is your name?" Natsu asked, but the figure never stopped moving.

The figure began to run further ahead of him, but Natsu picked up the pace too. He chased the figure for about 30 minutes before the figure got irritated.

"What do you want from me?" She asked when she neared a cliff edge.

"I just want to know your name. Please tell me." Natsu asked.

"Not a chance."She yelled.

"Well, why not?" Natsu asked stepping forwards making the girl step back.

Without warning the girl tripped and fell of the cliff. Natsu being one to react quickly raced forward and grabbed her arm. He pulled the girl up and placed her back on her feet.

"Be more caref….." Natsu started.

During the entire scene Natsu hadn't noticed the woman's hood fly off. In front of his stood a beautiful young girl. She had long blonde hair and deep hazel eyes. In a word of his mind, she was perfect.

"So…I've saved your life twice now. Surely you must feel obligated to tell me your name now." Natsu staded a triumphant look in his eyes.
