Drake had been reading the newspaper while talking with his partner. He had missed JJ's stares and the, occasional, dreamy look on the younger man's face. Unbeknownst to him his partner was now secretly harboring feelings for him. It had happened gradually over time after Dee and Ryo had gotten together which had forced JJ to realize that he couldn't have Dee back anymore.

Bit by bit Dee was replaced by Drake in JJ's mind making him pay more attention to his working partner. Then one day he had completely forgotten about Dee and moved on. After all Drake had been there for him after Dee and Ryo got together and he had saved JJ's ass numerous times. It was usually Drake who stood up for his partner when the Chief or Dee was making fun of him.

Crushing on Drake didn't mean that JJ had stopped clinging on Dee. Now he just did it to make Ryo jealous (it didn't work that often) or getting Dee into trouble with Ryo (that was more common). Couple of times he had even caught the two love birds kissing and making up. Literally. That was so much fun.

Drake looked like he was still reading, but actually he was now staring at JJ. He has that blasted grin on that pretty face of his. He must be thinking about Dee again. How long will it take until he notices me? Drake knew he was falling for the boy. It wasn't that surprising with Dee and Ryo around. If you weren't careful, you could walk in on them and it could be quite nasty. Drake was still trying to banish the picture from his head.

He could not help it, but he was jealous for Dee for having JJ's affection all for him. What was so special about Dee that every cute guy within one kilometer radius fell for him? Well, it could have been the fact that JJ thought he only liked chicks, but Drake had always been into experimenting.

"JJ, what do you think of me?" He hadn't meant to ask it out loud, but it had just slipped. No taking it back now since the ball is on him.

JJ had totally missed Drake's question. Actually he had heard it, but did not understand it in his day-dream world. He just said the first thing that was on his mind "I think Drake is cute." Suddenly the meaning of Drake's words came to him and he blushed.

Drake looked confused and was blushing too. This was something he hadn't expected, but now he at least knew who JJ was thinking about. He stood up and walked towards JJ's desk. There was a predatory glint in his eyes and he was loosening his tie. JJ was still blushing, but his eyes were now clouded with lust.

JJ hopped up from his seat and threw his hands behind Drake's neck. Pulling his face down their lips met in a fierce kiss. Drake's tongue licked JJ's lips trying to gain entrance. When he was let in, Drake groaned 

at the feeling of JJ's hot and moist cavern. How many times had he dreamed about this moment? His hands glided down JJ's back until he was touching his hips.

JJ's hands were by now fisted in Drake's shirt trying to unbutton it. He was now sitting on his desk with Drake between his thighs. Drake's hands were driving JJ insane with their soft touches, but never nearing the obvious bulge in his pants. They were still kissing passionately when JJ pulled Drake's shirt off.

Suddenly they heard an amused voice from the door "Ryo, I think it's time to remember to knock around here." Drake just grinned at Dee, pulled JJ out of their office and shouted over his shoulder "Well, it's about time." JJ just smiled at his fellow officers' stunned faces and let Drake pull him out of the building.
