Ch. 1 The Night they 1st meet
The rain poured down in district 2. A small beautiful girl walked with her head down. She ducked into a dark alley behind the training center, at the end she slipped in to a cove in one of the buildings. Huddled in the corner sat her little brothers.
"Good your back. Can you please take this terror?"
Pleaded her younger brother Michael as he handed Clove their youngest brother 4 month old Sam.
Cato was hanging out with his two best friends Jake and Alex drinking. They were talking about many things but mostly girls and the upcoming 73rd Hunger Games. When Alex had a great idea to go out and kill a little boy who was always pestering them asking for food and also he decided he was going to find a hot chick to fuck. Well being drunk all of them went along grabbing weapons and running out into the stormy night.
Clove was carrying Sam and Michael was a good 20 feet ahead when out of nowhere three boys attacked him. Clove screamed and reached into her pocket fumbling for knife. Her scream had caught Alex's attention. This gave Michael the chance to escape Clove yelled
"RUN! And no matter what don't stop and don't come back!"
He did as his sister ordered looking back for what could have been the last time at his little brother and older sister. Then with tears in his eyes ran.
"BITCH you made us lose our kill."
Finally her hand found the knife. With one graceful throw her knife found its target. Alex's heart he dropped dead as Clove ran to retrieve her knife. Keeping Sam close to her body, but before she could reach her knife Jake smashed into her. She twisted her body so to protect Sam but doing this caused her to hit so hard she was knocked out.
"Jake we need to get out of here."
"But Cato what of the girl?"
"She's as good as dead lets go Now."
And with that the boys left believing she was dead.
