Okay, here's a short one shot that came to me randomly, in the beginning it was just supposed to be a story that I could tell my little cousin, somehow it turned into this.

Once Upon A Time there was a sweet angel. She watched over the little children of the world. She always made sure they were loved and taken care of as best as she could. One day she came over a tiny little boy, looked no older than three, but he was in the third grade. There was no reason for him to be that small. She took an instant liking to this little boy. He seemed sweet and innocent, yet haunted. She knew this was a child that would be in need of her. She took it as her personal duty to help this child. She knew that soon her help would be needed.
She soon made sure that she knew everything she could about this child's past. She felt it could be important later on. She found out that he was a wizard and his parents were killed by a Dark wizard. She learned that he barely knew who he was. He knew his name, but was unaware of who his parents were, or who his godfathers were. He in fact had two, one Sirius Black and one Severus Snape, though the fact that Severus Snape was one was not a widely known fact. She learned that Severus and the child's mother had been best friends, almost like siblings. She dove into everyone's pasts and was shocked at all she found. Apparently the supposed light wizard was not all that light. She knew this child's life was never going to be easy.
She witnessed this child being abused by his uncle. He looked to be almost snapped in half. She so wanted to help, but it wasn't allowed. She knew what she had to do. She had to get that boy to his godfather. Since Sirius Black was currently in prison and to immature for something like this that meant he had to be sent to Severus Snape, she wasn't sure how well that would go over. She knew that Severus was aware that he was also Harry's godfather, but she was worried about Snape's feelings toward James Potter affecting how he treats Harry. She knew she had to take a chance though, she felt Severus couldn't be worse than Harry's current guardians. Plus there was a higher chance that this would turn out great for both Harry and Severus.
The angel knew what she had to do. She had to get Harry to Severus and soon, before his uncle ended up murdering him. She went to her boss and got permission for this. She also knew that Dumbledore would try to interfere. He wouldn't be able to do anything though, because they have magic on their side, the all powerful being that is referred to as magic. She knew that magic would take care of Dumbledore, and that the blood wards that were on the Dursley's house were borderline dark magic.
The angel went to magic and got everything she needed, she was even granted a corporal form. This allowed her to go into the Dursley's house and pick up Harry. She transported them to Severus Snapes house. She knocked on the door and started to explain everything. When she was finally done explaining Severus just stared at her, before glancing at Harry. She saw his eyes soften as he stared at the child. He took the child into his arms carefully. He looked at the angel and actually smiled, assuring her that the child would be well taken after now. He turned around and closed the door, going to heal the child. The angel smiled, knowing that this was the best thing for Harry and Severus. This had to have been the best thing she had and would ever do.
