Here is a custom Mr Johnson and Grover sketch, in which Mr Johnson goes to a Chinese restaurant. Enjoy and please review.
A new Chinese restaurant had opened in town, and Mr Johnson was excited to try it out.
"Wow!" exclaimed Mr Johnson. "This is the nicest Chinese restaurant I've ever seen in my life!"
But when Mr Johnson went to order his food, he got a great big surprise. Grover was working there.
"Oh no!" cried Mr Johnson. "Do you work everywhere?"
"Yes I do." said Grover. "I need to make money. Now, what you would like to order?"
"Okay. Listen to me very carefully, cause I'm only going to say this one time. I would like some chicken fingers, some white rice, and some fried ice cream. You got that?"
"One order of chicken fingers, one side of white rice, and a bowl of fried ice cream! I'll have it served up to you right away!"
Grover went into the kitchen.
"Every time, he's there!" thought Mr Johnson to himself.
Soon, Grover came back out.
However, Grover had brought out some chicken dumplings, not chicken fingers, and he had forgotten the other stuff."
"Here's your order sir!" called out Grover.
Mr Johnson looked at his order.
"This isn't what I ordered! I ordered chicken fingers, not chicken dumplings! You made a mistake!"
"Can you tell me what you ordered again?" asked Grover.
"I said I was only going to say it once, and I'm not going to say it again! Try to remember what I said before, and then you'll know what I ordered!"
Grover went back into the kitchen.
Soon, Grover returned.
This time, he had brought out a serving of pork fried rice, not the white rice that Mr Johnson had ordered.
"This is not white rice!" shouted Mr Johnson. "This is pork-fried rice! I ordered white rice!"
Grover realized his mistake.
"Oh, I am so sorry sir!" said Grover. "If you could just tell me what you wanted, I would be able to serve you what you wanted."
"I told you to remember what I said yourself. I'm not going to repeat it again!"
"Well then, I don't think I can serve you!"
Mr Johnson sighed.
"Fine. I will repeat it one more time, and that's it. Listen to me very very carefully. I would like an order of chicken fingers, a side of white rice, and a bowl of fried ice cream!"
"I will get your order right now!"
Mr Johnson was starting to lose it.
"Please hurry up!" he called into the kitchen.
Finally, Grover came back out.
"Sir, I'm afraid I have some bad news for you. We are unable to make your order."
Now Mr Johnson was angry.
"And why is that?"
"Our fryer and rice machine broke." said Grover. "Can I offer you a coupon for a free meal here next time?"
Mr Johnson fell to the floor.
"Hopefully the place will still make it down here." said Grover as he walked back into the kitchen.
