Chapter 1:
Jack Bristow sat cuffed to a chair in a dark dreary room after going on a simple mission for APO. Damn Sloane Jack thought. After retrieving the artifact he was sent for his ex-wife, Irina Derevko, knocked him out. Now he was waiting for Irina to return and inevitably torture him for information. Just then in barged Irina herself. Speak of the devil Jack said aloud. "Okay Jack let's get this over with." She raised her gun and was just about to pull the trigger when a young girl about 12 flew into the room with tears striming down her face. Momma stop, you promised you wouldn't hurt him¡± the young girl said. "I lied" Irina said. The girl rushed over to Jack and threw herself in front of him, shielding him. "Momma don't please you promised! Honey please moves aside Irina raised her gun. "NO!" Irina closed her eyes in frustration and opened them again. "Honey doesn't make me hurt you." Just then to Jack's amazement. Sark walked in. Don't you dare harm that child in any way Irina said Sark pulling his gun and aiming it at Irina. Fine Irina said and huffed out of the room. Sark turned to the girl and said "Honey you have about two minutes." The girl nodded and began to horridly untie Jack she pulled him to his feet and stated, "We have got to get out of here." They rushed out of the room and Jack called for an extraction team. Then guards started to come and they started firing upon Jack. Jack picked up the little girl in his arms, protecting her. He ran to the helicopter and pulled himself in and the helicopter picked off and jack settled the little girl next to him.
